  • Christian Why Are We saved?

Why are we saved from sin? There are those who teach, in the Christian circles, that one cannot escape from being a sinner. That one sins by accident, by habit, and that in the end God, will just have to judge you accordingly.

This is a false line of thought, however, it does mused the ear’s of those, who are living in rebellion to God’s Word, His Bible, by refusing to obey the plain teaching’s of the New Testament, in regards, to our position in Christ.

I want to touch on that subject more later, however, for now, the purpose of our seemingly trials, failures,(unbelief, doubt) and experiences in the Lord.

As a Christian, as we asked ourselves, why? why, are we experiencing this or that, in our lives? as we are attacked, on many fronts, in regards to our faith! in Christ! and His purposed destiny, for our lives?

As we apply more… as we receive more, of God’s Grace, by faith, yet, as Grace much more abounds… there are yet times, that we are inundated, with multiple temptations, and attacks, that seemingly to us, and out understanding, are quite overwhelming.

These are explained below.

  • God’s Purging, of His Believer’s, In Order To Be Used Even More, In One’s Purposed Destiny!

Jhn 15:2 (KJV) – Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every [branch] that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

Jhn 15:2 (NKJV) – Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away;* and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Jhn 17:12 While I was with them in the world,* I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept;* and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

Mat 3:10 And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Mat 15:13 But He answered and said, "Every plant which My heavenly Father has not planted will be uprooted.

Mat 21:19 And seeing a fig tree by the road, He came to it and found nothing on it but leaves, and said to it, "Let no fruit grow on you ever again." Immediately the fig tree withered away.

Luk 8:13 But the ones on the rock [are those] who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

Luk 13:7 Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, ‘Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?’

Luk 13:8 But he answered and said to him, ‘Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize [it].

Luk 13:9 And if it bears fruit, [well]. But if not, after that* you can cut it down.’ "

1Cr 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.

Hbr 6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;

Hbr 6:8 but if it bears thorns and briers, [it is] rejected and near to being cursed, whose end [is] to be burned.

1Jo 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but [they went out] that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

and

Job 17:9 Yet the righteous will hold to his way, And he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger.

Psa 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psa 51:8 Make me hear joy and gladness, [That] the bones You have broken may rejoice.

Psa 51:9 Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities.

Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.

Psa 51:11 Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.

Psa 51:12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me [by Your] generous Spirit.

Psa 51:13 [Then] I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You.

Pro 4:18 But the path of the just [is] like the shining sun,* That shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.

Isa 27:9 Therefore by this the iniquity of Jacob will be covered; And this [is] all the fruit of taking away his sin: When he makes all the stones of the altar Like chalkstones that are beaten to dust, Wooden images* and incense altars shall not stand.

Isa 29:19 The humble also shall increase [their] joy in the LORD, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.

Hsa 6:3 Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter [and] former rain to the earth.

Mal 3:3 He will sit as a refiner and a purifier of silver; He will purify the sons of Levi, And purge them as gold and silver, That they may offer to the LORD An offering in righteousness.

Mat 3:12 His winnowing fan [is] in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire."

Mat 13:12 For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.

Mat 13:33 Another parable He spoke to them: "The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures* of meal till it was all leavened."

Rom 5:3 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance;

Rom 5:4 and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

Rom 5:5 Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to [His] purpose.

2Cr 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding [and] eternal weight of glory,

2Cr 4:18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen [are] temporary, but the things which are not seen [are] eternal.

Phl 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment,

Phl 1:10 that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,

Phl 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which [are] by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

1Th 5:23 Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Th 5:24 He who calls you [is] faithful, who also will do [it].

Tts 2:14 who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself [His] own special people, zealous for good works.

Hbr 6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God;

Hbr 12:10 For they indeed for a few days chastened [us] as seemed [best] to them, but He for [our] profit, that [we] may be partakers of His holiness.

Hbr 12:11 Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.

Hbr 12:15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;

Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

Jhn 15:8 By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Jhn 15:16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and [that] your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you.

Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Gal 5:23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

Phl 1:11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which [are] by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Col 1:5 because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

Col 1:6 which has come to you, as [it has] also in all the world, and is bringing forth fruit,* as [it is] also among you since the day you heard and knew the grace of God in truth;

Col 1:7 as you also learned from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on your behalf,

Col 1:8 who also declared to us your love in the Spirit.

Col 1:9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

Col 1:10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing [Him], being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
