Are you worshiping an unknown god?

Are you worshiping a STATURE or an IMAGE?

Are you worshiping a god that does not answer your prayers?

Any “god” that has been made by man is not a true God!

There is only ONE TRUE GOD,

THE GOD OF THE PROTESTANT CHRISTIAN BIBLE,

which is comprised of both The Old and New Testaments.

 **********

This God is a Living God, who does answer prayers, and can be known by all who will seek Him. This true Living God can give you peace, and joy, and help you through the trials of life.

The true God is the Creator of all  that exists.

He is a Spiritual Substance, ONE GOD, yet we know Him as Three- Persons- in- One, a Trinity of The Father, The Son (Jesus), and The Holy Spirit.

The early church Fathers only knew Him as God, until He sent His Son, Jesus, to earth as Savior of the world.

After Jesus ascended back to Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit.

You can read about the Holy Spirit and all that He does, in the

Protestant Christian Bible New Testament in the

Book of John chapters 14, 15, and 16.

John 3:16 KJV – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The above verse is from the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament.

It tells us that God is a God of Love. He loves the world, that is, all people, so much that He does not want anyone to perish (go to hell).

To have everlasting life is to live eternally in Heaven with God.

You might ask ” what does it mean to believe in Jesus, and have everlasting life?”

In the Protestant Christian Bible Old Testament Book of Genesis, it tells of God creating the world and all that is in it, including mankind.

Adam and Eve were the first people, and they lived in the Garden of Eden, in perfect harmony with God, where everything was provided for them by God.

God gave them only one commandment, and that was NOT to eat of the tree  of knowledge of good and evil.

But they disobeyed God, after Eve listened to Satan, the devil, (also called” the serpent”) who tempted her to eat of that tree.

Their disobedience was sin, the first sin committed and is known as Original Sin.

When they had children, that sin nature  was passed on to them, and ever since then, everyone is born with a sin nature.

This disobedience brought both physical death and spiritual death upon mankind.

Therefore it is necessary for every person to be spiritually born again to have everlasting life.

You can be a good moral person, law -abiding, professional , helping others, but you cannot go to heaven by being a good person.

However, it is not the sins that you  may commit that will keep you out of heaven.

It is Original Sin , the sin nature, that separates us from the Presence of God.

So how can one get free from that sin nature, free from that Original Sin that has been passed on to everyone?

Jesus Atonement has freed mankind from Original Sin!

John 3:17 NKJV – “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

John 3:18 NKJV – “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Jesus Atonement has freed mankind from Original Sin!

John 3:16 states that God sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world.

One has to be spiritually born again to be a Christian.

To be spiritually born again  comes through true repentance.

Repentance is 1st understanding God’s Plan for man’s spiritual redemption.  Genesis 3:15 is God’s first promise to man, of the future crushing defeat of Evil, which was done by Jesus’s: Death, Burial, Resurrection, and Ascension.

2nd is to make a decision of repentance, a life turned to God, to daily to practice and obey the writing’s of Jesus, the Apostles, and Evangelists, found only within the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament.

Jesus came to earth from Heaven, lived as a God-Man and willingly sacrificed His life on the Cross as a Substitution for sinful mankind.

Jesus suffered unimaginable pain on the Cross, for you and for me.

His Precious Blood was an Atonement for sin, man’s Original Sin.

This perfect Sacrifice is required by God the Father.

He died, was buried, and after His Resurrection,

He ascended back to Heaven.

**********

(Jesus is NOT to be worshiped as still hanging on the cross, as some do!)

**********

In the following two verses from the Protestant Christian Bible New Testament, Jesus is speaking.

John 10:17 NKJV – “Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.

John 10:18 NKJV – “No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father.”

Only God has power to give life and take life; Jesus is God the Son, (equal in power) Who willingly gave His own life, and then arose from the grave by His Own power, (The Resurrection), and ascended back to Heaven.

The ONLY Way of Salvation (being spiritually born again)

is by believing in Jesus’s Substitutionary Sacrifice on the Cross,

and the Atonement for ALL Sin by His Blood.

Jesus’s Salvation Message and Understanding Repentance

which is a life turned to God

is what sets you free from the sin nature of Original Sin.

The Protestant Christion Bible Old and New Testament says in:

Proverbs 27:1 NIV – Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring.

2 Corianthians 6:2 NKJV – For He (God) says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, And in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

James 4:13 NIV – Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.”

James 4:14 NIV – Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

2 Peter 3:9 NIV – The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Will you make today YOUR Day of Salvation?

Tomorrow you could die, and enter into the eternal fire of hell,

with no hope of escape!
